ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ: ಖಾಸಗಿ ಬಸ್‌ಗೆ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡ ಘಟನೆ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಹಿರೇಬಾಗೇವಾಡಿ ಬಳಿಯ ಪುಣೆ– ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶನಿವಾರ ರಾತ್ರಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಘಟನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಜೀವಹಾನಿ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿಲ್ಲ.
ಬೆಳಗಾವಿಯ ಶಿವಾಜಿನಗರದ ಜೋರೆ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಆರ್‌.ಆರ್‌. ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಬಸ್ ಬಾಡಿಗೆ ಪಡೆದು ಗದಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ವಿವಾಹ ಮುಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬೆಳಗಾವಿಗೆ ವಾಪಸ್ಸಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
ಹಿರೇಬಾಗೇವಾಡಿ ಸಮೀಪ ಬಂದಾಗ ಬಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಚಾಲಕ ಬಸ್ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ಕೂಡಲೇ ಒಳಗಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರು ಕೆಳಗಿಳಿದರು. ಅಗ್ನಿಶಾಮಕ ದಳದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಬೆಂಕಿ ನಂದಿಸುವ ವೇಳೆ ಬಸ್‌ನ ಬಹುತೇಕ ಭಾಗ ಸುಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿದೆ. ಹಿರೇಬಾಗೇವಾಡಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್‌ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದೆ.
