ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಗಳೂರು: ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಾಲ್ಯದಿಂದಲೇ ವಿಪತ್ತು ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ವರಿಷ್ಠಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಡಾ.ಸಂಜೀವ್ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ನಗರದ ಮಲೆನಾಡು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಗೃಹ ರಕ್ಷಕ ದಳ, ಅಗ್ನಿಶಾಮಕ ಮತ್ತು ತುರ್ತು ಸೇವೆ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಮವಾರ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವಿಪತ್ತು ಕಡಿತಗೊಳಿಸುವ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ಇಂದು ಶಾಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಸಿಯೂಟದ ಅಡುಗೆ ಅನಿಲ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಪ್ರಯೋಗಾಲಯಗಳಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ವಿಪತ್ತು ಎದುರಾದಾಗ ಅದನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ತಡೆಗಟ್ಟಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ಮಾಹಿತಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆ. ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವಿಪತ್ತುಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಬೇಕು. ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಅಗ್ನಿಶಾಮಕ ದಳ, ಆಂಬುಲೆನ್ಸ್, ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಗಳ ಸ್ಥಳ ಮತ್ತು ದೂರವಾಣಿ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮನದಟ್ಟು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
